The Resorba Medical Product Line

Resorba offers synthetic, absorbable sutures with various thread structures and strength profiles. At SuturerOnline, you’ll find PGA Resoquick, Glycolon, and PGA Resorba in multiple sizes and needle combinations.

PGA Resoquick is a rapidly absorbable, braided, and coated PGA suture for tissues that require only short-term wound support. Glycolon is a rapidly absorbable monofilament made of glycolic acid and ε-caprolactone. Its smooth surface allows for easy passage through tissue, and its monofilament structure prevents capillary transport along the thread. PGA Resorba is a braided and coated PGA suture with a medium strength profile.

The choice between these products should be based on tissue type, suturing technique, and how long the wound requires mechanical support during healing.
