PGA Resoquick - rapidly absorbable suture from Resorba
PGA Resoquick from Resorba. A synthetic, braided, absorbable suture.

PGA RESOQUICK from Resorba is a synthetic, braided, and rapidly absorbable suture made of polyglycolic acid. It is designed for soft tissue closure where the wound edges require support only during the early healing phase.
Flexible, braided suture with a surface coating
The finely braided filaments provide a flexible suture with good handling and knot security. The suture has a surface coating that reduces friction and facilitates smooth passage through the tissue. PGA RESOQUICK is uncolored.
Rapid loss of tensile strength
PGA RESOQUICK degrades through hydrolysis.
Remaining strength after 1 week – approx. 50%
PGA Resoquick will normally be fully resorbed after approximately 42 days.
