Non-absorbable sutures from SMI

SMI offers an affordable range of non-absorbable sutures made from both synthetic and natural materials. Here you’ll find Supramid, a twisted and coated multifilament polyamide suture; Daclon, an uncoated monofilament polyamide suture; and classic braided and silicone-coated silk.

The different materials and thread constructions provide several options when the suture’s flexibility, tissue passage, and handling need to be adapted to the procedure. The range includes various sizes and needle combinations for surgical suturing.
