RESOLON from RESORBA is a synthetic, monofilament, non-absorbable suture made of polyamide 6-6.6. A special treatment during manufacturing gives the suture an unusually soft and flexible character compared to traditional monofilament polyamide sutures.

Easy handling and knotting

RESOLON is soft and flexible even when dry and sterile. This provides excellent handling and knotting properties while maintaining high knot strength. The smooth monofilament construction facilitates easy passage through tissue and prevents capillary transport.

Non-absorbable suture for long-term support

RESOLON is used for soft tissue closure when a non-absorbable suture material is appropriate. The suture is blue for good visibility and is available in several thread sizes, lengths, and needle combinations to meet various surgical needs.
